Brian & Carole Wechsler
Brian and Carole, as newlyweds, first began attending a church served by Village Missions in 1973. This isolated rural church in northern Idaho had a profound impact on their walk with Christ. In 1980 they headed east to Chicago to attend Moody Bible Institute. After graduation and acceptance by Village Missions, Village Missions assigned them to the Finchford Community Bible Church in Finchford, Iowa (pop. 57) from 1983-1989. They then served the Morning Star Community Church in Red Feather Lakes, CO (pop. 400) from 1989 to 2000. In 2000 Brian became Executive Director of Village Missions.
Brian and Carole have seen firsthand the impact Village Missions has had on rural communities as new believers, Village Missionaries, and in their current role. They ask that all donations go not to them but to the ministry of Village Missions, so that Village Missions can serve more rural churches.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
