Andy and Stacy Taylor left cattle ranching in 1998 to rebuild and grow struggling churches in rural, agricultural communities like the one they grew up in. Village Missions sent them first to Colorado.
They felt led to leave their first couple of churches when the congregation was about the size of the town. Obviously, leaving churches of 100+ people to take a church of 15 or so is not a good business model, but it is a great Gospel model and has been blessed because of the prayer support of those who know them and pray faithfully.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
