Allen and Diane Sparks
Allen and Diane retired in 2016, after serving 40 years with Village Missions. One field was in Iowa, the other in Indiana. One field was in a small town, the other in open country. One of their greatest joys was seeing young believers grow and then respond to the call of Jesus to vocational ministry. Another joy was the summer mission trips to other Village Mission fields. Those churches were helped and encouraged in building construction projects, Vacation Bible School, etc.
Allen has opportunity to preach at area churches. He meets with several younger pastors to foster their growth and fellowship with one another. Diane is a mentor Mom with MOPS, caring for young mothers. Allen and Diane are able to visit their out-of-state children and grandchildren and plan to do interim work with Village Missions as Associates.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
