A few years after our wedding in 1970, God called us to serve with Village Missions. We began serving in June 1975 in Nine Mile Falls, WA. Meeting in a Community Center, our church grew and saw people come to Christ. It soon became self-supporting and began supporting VM and other missionary work. We acquired property and built a church building, the first in our area. Over the years many young people went out to serve the Lord in volunteer and full-time ministry.

All this was possible because of Village Missions. After 39 years we retired and are now doing missionary work with refugees, both in America and in Europe, as well as preaching occasionally in small churches.
Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
