We served 4 churches in our 29 1/2 years of ministry. We found serving our Lord in small places to be a real joy as many rural people need someone to come to their area and "Preach the Word and Love the People." God has given us a real love for rural folks and a deep desire to lead the lost to a saving knowledge of Jesus and help them grow in faith.
Another wonderful assignment we were given was to mentor a younger couple, who are now serving full time as Village Missionaries!
Since we retired, God has allowed us to keep serving Him in filling the pulpit in our home town area. We spent one great summer as Village Missionary Associates and are looking forward to ministry opportunities as God gives us good health.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
