Matt and Tina Schnetz
After receiving salvation and being discipled in a Village Missions affiliated church in Cool, CA, Matt and Tina Schnetz were encouraged by retired Village Missionaries, Jack and Bea Retzer, to follow the Lord's leading to make a mid-life change. They sold their home and took their five children to attend Bible college and become Village Missionaries.
They began their ministry in rural, eastern Oregon. Then they had the privilege of serving serving McKenna Community Church in Roy, WA, from 2006-2025. They shared the gospel and loved people through a thriving jail ministry and a ministry to the homeless on the streets of Olympia. They also helped meet the needs of homeschooling and foster families within their church.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
