Craig and Lani Norwood
Craig and Lani Norwood learned about Village Missions though Lani's involvement in Stonecroft.
Their first field was a new field at Nisland, SD. After serving there for 12 years, they were assigned to Ridgway, CO. After 5 years of building the church family in Ridgway, their next assignment was at Nile, WA, where they served over 16 years before retiring.
After their retirement in 2008, they spent several summers in the interior of Alaska as associates for Village Missions. They led building projects for a small native village and preached in 2 small communities where there is no permanent pastor. This ministry also included leading Bible Studies, involvement in VBS programs and other opportunities of ministry. Their prayer is for a full-time pastor for neglected small villages in AK, as well as other communities throughout North America.
In 2022, the Norwoods agreed to serve as associates in Interior, SD.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
