Joe and Jenny Murrell
Joe and Jenny heard about Village Missions while in seminary and immediately resonated with the heart of the mission. It was exciting to envision the revitalization of a church and community by the gospel and by the care of a full-time pastoral family to the entire community.
Joe and Jenny served for 18 years in two rural California towns and then 3 for years as District Representatives. They are now back in the pastorate as missionaries in the ranching community of Pine Valley, California.
Joe and Jenny love accepting people where they are and moving them toward Jesus. They love encouraging the church and community to intersect and see the love and message of Christ brought to those who are unlikely to walk through the door of the church. Joe's passion is equipping the body of Christ to live into the role that God has for them to play in the drama of the universe.
