Karen and I seriously considered Village Missions in the spring of 1995. We had served in pastoral ministry for about ten years. God called us to VM while we were leaving a difficult field. We had been told about VM many times before, and after praying about what God would have us do, VM was the answer.
We served in several communities, all in Maine, and retired after about seventeen years from Mattawamkeag Baptist, in Mattawamkeag, Maine.
We now reside in Winn, Maine. We are very thankful for being a part of the family of Village Missions. Our son, Aaron, his wife Suzanne, and their family are also Village Missionaries serving in Valleyford, WA.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
