We both became Christians in high school (Bill in a Village Missions served church). We met and married in college and taught school for a few years until God finally was given full control of our (Bill's mainly) lives. Attended three years of Bible College at Calvary in Kansas City. Since Village Missions had meant so much to us, it was our choice to serve with them. Our fields were in Montana, Kansas and Colorado (total of 36 years). Mary would say her mission field was our five daughters, and it turned out to be a good one.

Bill and Mary retired in Sept. 2016 and live in Canon City, Colorado, where they enjoy their grandchildren and their church. They were made ministers of helps in the church recently. We are also ambassadors for Village Missions, visiting Bible Colleges mentoring young men and women with the thought of those couples serving as Village Missionaries.
Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
