Dan and Chris Kennedy
By God's grace, we both grew up in strong Christian homes, chose to accept Christ at early ages and dedicated our lives to Christ as teens, Dan in the South and Chris in the West.
We met at Prairie Bible College, where Dan ('70; BRE '82) traveled for the school and served in the Music Dept. Chris ('74) taught in Pensacola, then married Dan in '75, after he completed a MMuEd at Ithaca, NY. Dan pursued pastoral ministry in '78, and for sixteen years served as an associate pastor in Oregon, Alberta, and South Carolina. In '94 he became a senior pastor and pastored in British Columbia, Oregon and Washington.
God used a fellow pastor to introduce us to the rural ministry of VM. In 2010 we were appointed to serve the lovely community in Brinnon, WA, and we served there until we retired in 2023.
By God's keeping grace, our three married children with two grandkids are seeking and serving the Lord. We pray for God's continued blessing and the impact of the Gospel in Country Churches.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
