Walt and Rosanna Jacoby

Send a Note Start a Campaign Add to Prayer
Walt & Rosanna both grew up in -- and had a heartbeat for -- rural areas. In 1983, through a variety of ministry experiences and circumstances, God led them to apply to become Village Missionaries. They served in vocational ministry 41 years, 31 of those with Village Missions.

They served the rural mission fields of Graeagle and Coarsegold, California, before being asked to serve as District Representatives. They served as District Representatives of the Southwest District for 20 years. As the districts realigned occasionally, they served from 30+ through 41 Village Missionaries and churches in 3 to 7 states.

When they retired in 2014, they were serving in Arizona, California, and Nevada. They currently serve with Peace Haven Ministries. Peace Haven provides encouragement, emotional and spiritual support, and respite for active Village Missionaries. Walt and Rosanna's role includes the "niche" of reaching out to honor and keep retired Village Missionaries connected.

The Jacobys are also very active in their local church in Nampa, Idaho, including serving as leaders of the Senior Adult Ministry.
Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
