Linda Gustafson
Dave and Linda Gustafson first heard of Village Missions while attending a missions conference at Multnomah School of the Bible in Portland, Oregon. They became Village Missionaries in 1988 and served three churches in 23 years. After a hiatus from ministry, they returned to Village Missions and served on Sauvie Island, Oregon.
Having grown up in small towns, they know the feeling of both church and community being "family." They have lived out firsthand the Village Missions motto, "Preach the Word and love the people.
Dave went home to Jesus in 2025.
Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
