Gil and Trish Doebler
Anticipating graduation from Bible College in 1972, Gil & Trish were looking for a ministry that would fit their education and abilities. At a Missions Conference they came upon Village Missions, and the Lord led them to apply! By September of 1972 they began serving in Santa Margarita, California.
What a privilege it was to serve the Lord and His Church in 4 different rural communities in 29 years. In 2002, Gil and Trish became District Reps and served missionaries and churches in 4 states until retirement in September 2017.
Gil served on the VM National Board for 18 years. We also served as associate missionaries for a time.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
