Jack Canady

To reach the families in small town America, Jack and Norma Canady, with their growing family, became Village Missionaries in 1958. Over the next 20 years they had the privilege of leading many to Christ on seven fields. Two of their sons and two grandchildren have also served in Village Missions because of the same burden and call.

During the next 22 years, God chose to have them serve as District Representatives; then to follow Founder and Director Reverend Walter Duff in leading the Mission they love.

After retiring, they continued ministering to pastors and their wives through Peace Haven Ministry.

Norma went home to Jesus in 2025.
Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
