After Paul graduated from Seminary in 1986, we felt called to enter full-time Christian ministry and had a special burden for what seemed like the forgotten places in rural America. Through a series of events God led us to Village Missions.
We attended candidate school in the Spring of 1989 and arrived on our first field in Idaho in September 1989. Since then we have served on three Village Missions fields, where we have seen God at work in people's lives through a strong preaching and teaching ministry, women's outreach, VBS and being involved any way we can in peoples lives, showing them God's love in tangible ways.
All three of these churches would not have remained a light for Christ in their communities without the generous support of people concerned about rural America. Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
