Andrew and Sherri Strickland
Andrew and Sherri learned about the value of Village Missions and the small country church by attending a Village Missions church in Absecon, NJ. They were actively involved in the ministry of the church when a District Representative came and shared about the need for new missionary pastors.
Andrew had come to know Jesus at a young age, and he hoped to be a pastor close to where he lived. God had different plans, and He moved seemingly unmovable roadblocks to place Andrew and Sherri on their first field in Cambridge, NY in August 2014. Upon completion of what God had for them in Cambridge, God directed their steps to another field in Quaker Street (Delanson), NY in March 2020.
With backgrounds in landscaping and food service/management, Andrew and Sherri wondered how their previous jobs would help on their mission field. The years invested in secular jobs was not a waste because maintaining green pastures is a skill fit for a shepherd, and sheep need to eat and be given care!
Would you partner with Village Missions and Andrew & Sherri prayerfully and financially as they shepherd the flock in Quaker Street, go in search of the lost ones and take the gospel into their surrounding communities?
