John and Carrie Smith
John and Carrie both grew up in Michigan, in Christian homes where they saw their parents' burden for reaching children for Christ. As John and Carrie grew older, God instilled a passion in their hearts to spread the Gospel. They both took training with Child Evangelism Fellowship along with Bible college to further their knowledge of the Bible.
They met each other while serving God with CEF. In 2009 they married, and their lives have been full of ministry! They have worked as youth pastor, CEF missionaries, Sunday school and Junior Church teachers, VBS leaders and then with Life Change Action, an orphanage ministry.
In the fall of 2017, God led them to work with Village Missions. In the spring of 2018, they moved to their first field: Newcastle, Nebraska. In October 2023, they started serving in Groton, Vermont, which is a new VM field.
