Ron and Marilyn Sallee
Ron & Marilyn were burdened with the growing need for more Village Missionaries. They also saw people in their own congregation who desired ministry training but could not afford to go to a Bible college. To meet these needs, they started Contenders Bible School, a two-year tuition free ministry-equipping school at Machias Community Church. As a result, many trained couples have been sent out as Village Missionaries.
With the support of Village Missions, they put Contenders Bible School online as the Contenders Discipleship Initiative. Today CDI is being used in the United States and Canada to train new Village Missionaries as well as around the world to equip God's people for ministry!
After over 38 years of pastoral ministry, Ron & Marilyn now serve as the Village Missions CDI director. Please partner with them and Village Missions through prayer and financial support to keep this vital equipping ministry tuition free.
