Gordon & Val became District Representatives in 2019. Their Prairie District includes Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and northwestern Ontario.
They have been involved with Village Missions since 1979, having served five different churches as missionary-pastor in Alberta and Saskatchewan, prior to being asked to move into their current role.
Their ministry involves traveling to their fields regularly to come alongside the missionaries to encourage and strengthen them and their churches. Their goal is to see the missionaries be effective in their efforts to impact the communities they serve in the rural areas of Canada. Their greatest joy in this role as District Representatives is seeing the different ways the missionaries use their unique gifts to reach their communities with the gospel of Christ.
