Mike and Josie Roush
Josie and I have spent the better part of our marriage serving in our home church. I have been a trustee, a teacher, an elder, and at times a preacher. Josie has been an office secretary/treasurer and event organizer as well as helping in several other ministries. Additionally, we led a young adults group and enjoyed a small part in building the church of the future.
We are all called to serve God as He directs. For me, “the edifying of the body of Christ”* has been a passion for years, and it led us to Village Missions. Josie desires to be part of an effective, unified group for Christ. Our hearts have been opened to the need in rural ministry. We believe we are called to these forgotten places.
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for *the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-12 KJV).
