Anthony and Joanna Ramirez
Anthony and Joanna met at Bible college and married in November 2024. Shortly after getting married, they began to pursue God's leading to serve Him in rural ministry. He led them to join Village Missions. Having both grown up in small towns, they desire to preach the Word and love the people of a small town or rural community.
In January 2026, they started a year-long pastoral residency in Murdo, SD, under the mentorship of Village Missionaries Jim and Lynette Karg.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
