I was introduced to Village Missions at Moody Bible Institute. In 1995 I was reintroduced to VM by close friends who were District Representatives.
Before that, though, I pastored a small church in a rural community in California for 14 years. I married Ana, and after we had children, we chose to move out of that community. My dear friends met me at an event and asked, "What's wrong with being a part of Village Missions?" I definitely knew the call of God at that moment.
Twenty years later -- in 2015 -- my wife and I joined Village Missions.
We've found that the Lord will guide you in the right way, sometimes by setting up obstacles to redirect your path. He was very patient with us as he waited for us to be involved in Village Missions!
We currently serve in a small community in Northern California called Elk Creek.
Will you consider partnering with us and Village Missions to strengthen rural churches through your prayers, encouragement and financial support?

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 210 communities across the United States and Canada.
