I was introduced to Village Missions at Moody Bible Institute. In 1995 I was reintroduced to VM by close friends who were District Representatives.
I pastored a small church in a rural community in California for 14 years. I married, and after Ana and I had children, we felt the need to move out of that community. My dear friends met me at an event and asked, "What's wrong with being a part of Village Missions?" I definitely knew the call of God at that moment.
Twenty years later in 2015, my wife and I joined Village Missions. We currently serve in a small community in Northern Calilfornia called Elk Creek. The Lord will set up obstacles to guide you in the right way, and the Lord was very patient with us as he waited for us to be involved in Village Missions.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
