Ron and Lynette Larsen
I (Ron) grew up in Staten Island, New York. My wife, Lynette, spent her very early years in Brooklyn, New York, and was mostly raised in New Jersey. Although I grew up in a Christian home, I rebelled until God saved me out of a life of drinking and drugs.
Many years back I had spotted Village Missions online and was very impressed with what they were doing, but it was not yet God's time for us to pursue ministry with them. We continued with various local ministries, and then in 2015, God started redirecting our steps back to Village Missions. As Lynette and I started praying and learning more about this wonderful ministry, it became clear that this was the path God was leading us down.
Lynette and I have five children: Jake, James, Jynessa, Jannalyse and Jylisia.
In 2016 we began serving at Atlanta Bible Church in Atlanta, MI. We are so thankful to see the Lord grow this church, as we have purposed to "preach the Word and love the people." We have met some great new friends here, and we are looking forward to see what the Lord does through His church to impact this town for Him. May He be glorified!
