Jim and Lynette Karg
As we were facing a crossroads in life, a friend asked Jim the question: What would you do if you could do anything? Jim responded by saying that he would love to go to a small church in a small town that needed a pastor and preach the Word. Our friend introduced us to the ministry of Village Missions, and the more he shared, the more we sensed that this ministry was what God had been preparing us for all along.
That conversation was more than 15 years ago now, and since then we have served on fields in Kansas, Colorado and now South Dakota.
Community of Bible Church in Murdo, SD is located along the I 90 corridor near the center of the state. It is a ranching and farming community with many seasonal businesses that cater to tourists. We have felt right at home since we arrived in 2019. This church has always had a commitment to God's Word and to reaching their community with the good news of Jesus and it is our joy to labor alongside them to that end.
