Jason and Kathi Berga
I (Jason) trusted Christ for my salvation following high school. I attended a Christian college and was then employed by a Village Missions partner church for about twelve years. Following this, Kathi and I joined Village Missions.
We were in upstate New York for thirteen years with our first VM church.
We are currently serving in New Gloucester, Maine. As with all Village Missionaries, our work here is to preach the Word and love the people.
Our church has a number of teaching times during the week, and discipleship is taken very seriously. In addition to preaching on Sunday, I teach a morning men's study, the Sunday adult Bible Class, and a Sunday evening study series. I am involved in AWANA and a three-hour long class on Thursday night. Kathi helps lead a homeschool co-op, coordinates the nursery ministry, teaches at AWANA, and helps coordinate the women's ministry. Together we visit and encourage church folk and community members.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in nearly 200 communities across the United States and Canada.
