Terry and Jane Baskin-2701
Jane and I were both raised in Christian homes and were saved in our youth. We met at Peace River Bible Institute in northern Alberta. Jane had a background in nursing and I in aviation, but we both felt the Lord calling us to full-time ministry. Three years into our marriage the Lord led us to northeastern Quebec to be involved in an evangelism and church planting ministry among Canada's native people (the Innu). The Lord has blessed us with six children who have been a very important part of our lives and ministry.
After 20 years in Quebec, God directed us back to western Canada where we have been enjoying serving under Village Missions in the little community of Grindrod, BC. We are very thankful for Contenders Discipleship Initiative (CDI) and for the fellowship that we enjoy in the VM family. Our greatest desire in ministry is to see more people (of any age) coming to know our Wonderful Lord.

Village Missions exists to glorify Jesus Christ by developing spiritually vital country churches in rural North America. We fulfill this aim by placing pastors in small town and rural churches that might otherwise have to close, and in doing so, preserve the Gospel presence in over 220 communities across the United States and Canada.
